InfoFabrica Consulting Pte Ltd (InfoFabrica), a leading regional ICT solutions provider and consultancy, announced that it has achieved Amazon Web Services (AWS) Storage Competency, becoming the first AWS Partner Network (APN) member to achieve this certification in Southeast Asia. The professional certification by leading cloud provider AWS recognises InfoFabrica’s deep domain and consulting expertise in helping enterprises adopt and deploy complex storage solutions in AWS, ranging from Data Life-Cycle Management, Backup & Recovery to Business Continuity & Disaster Recovery (BCDR).
Public cloud spending in the Asia/Pacific excluding Japan region is expected to reach US$34.51 billion in 2020, a marked 32.83% increase from US$25.98 billion in 20191 on the back of increasing cloud adoption and rising demand for cloud services across the region. At the same time, IDC predicts spending on Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) to grow at a robust 19.8% compound annual growth rate (CAGR) for the period 2020-2024 in the ASEAN region2.
“While cloud adoption has been on a robust upward trend over the past few years, the recent rapid shift to a distributed working model for many businesses accelerated that growth dramatically,” said Li Wen Chi, Managing Director, InfoFabrica. “The need for expertise in cloud-enabled data storage, backup and recovery, as well as business continuity/disaster recovery (BCDR) services is more critical than ever as businesses now have to manage the cloud systems they have put in place. We are deeply honoured to receive the AWS Storage Competency certification in recognition of our expertise in this area and hope to further enable innovative Southeast Asian enterprises on their cloud journeys.”
More than 50 InfoFabrica consultants in Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia and Vietnam have achieved AWS Storage Competency, and are able to extend their storage expertise to serve clients across InfoFabrica’s regional footprint. Customers can be assured of InfoFabrica’s expertise at helping enterprises manage the exponential volume, increasing cost and expanding complexity of data storage, as well as in enabling business continuity and bolstering business resilience with this certification.
