Huawei and VIMIGO Join Forces to Drive Digitalisation Among SMEs in Malaysia

Huawei has been steadfast in driving digital transformation across several industries in Malaysia since its entrance in 2001. It has also introduced a slew of technological advancements, bringing the country to the pinnacle of digital technology.

Meanwhile, with over 700 enterprise users, VIMIGO Performance Reward System is a leader in business model and digital technology transformation among Malaysian SMEs. Not only have many of them seen a significant increase in team efficiency, but up to 90% of them have also effectively transformed their business models as a result of the technology.

Recently, Huawei Malaysia and VIMIGO officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding to establish a strategic cross-border collaboration, with hopes to “accelerate the transformation of SMEs and to spur them to greater milestones”. With the increasing data usage and a large influx of traffic drawn by the customers' growth, HUAWEI CLOUD provides a scalable infrastructure just right for the VIMIGO system that enables growth, resilience, and flexibility.

Founder of VIMIGO, Mr Shane Mun expressed great optimism about the collaboration. “Combining Huawei’s strong investment in technical resources with VIMIGO's first-class performance reward tool, this collaboration will certainly make our SMEs shine on the world stage!” he added.

“HUAWEI CLOUD has always aspired to collaborate with leading firms across various industries in Malaysia because collaborating with such enterprises is the only way to achieve the greatest impact in terms of driving digital technology,” said Mr Roy Hu Haihua, Head of Business Development, Cloud Business Unit, Huawei Malaysia.

Huawei has a good grasp of numerous technologies that drive digitalisation in Malaysia, twenty years after first setting foot in the country. The cross-industry collaboration between these two parties will primarily focus on the deployment of digital transformation resources for Malaysian SMEs, guaranteeing that they may easily jump on the 5G bandwagon to jointly develop a digital business network platform.
