EDOTCO Group (EDOTCO), a leading integrated telecommunications infrastructure services company in Asia, announced an improved strategic approach aligned with its mission to build more sustainable and equitable connectivity for nations regionally and globally. The announcement was made at EDOTCO’s new global headquarters, Laman EDOTCO, in conjunction with its tenth anniversary.
“In just a decade, EDOTCO has emerged as one of three Malaysian unicorns and established ourselves as one of the leading TowerCos in the world. We must now look ahead to all the exciting possibilities that await us as a champion of connectivity. EDOTCO's services, products and innovation will be needed more than ever, not just to cater to changing demands but to shape the way the digital future manifests," said YBhg Dato Dr Nik Ramlah Nik Mahmood, Chairman, EDOTCO Group.
EDOTCO’s mission revolves around accelerating equitable next-generation connectivity by fulfilling the world’s demands innovatively, proactively, economicallyand sustainably. In recognition of that focus and the Group’s cross-border growth, the comprehensive rebranding exercise ensures holistic corporate alignment and supports EDOTCO’s aim to become the next-generation tower companies (TowerCos) champion in Asia.
As a forward-looking company, EDOTCO’s redefined brand purpose of ‘Shaping Future Connectivity' encapsulates EDOTCO's future-centric vision of leading sustainable digital connectivity in Asia. It has also introduced four refreshed brand pillars that enshrine the company's overarching focus on building a connected future for societies around the globe while nurturing a corporate culture that fulfils the demands of tomorrow’s workforce.
“As we continuously push the boundaries and chart our path forward, we have identified four main pillars that will help us navigate our way through the uncharted waters of growth: Connecting the Unconnected, Next Generation Infrastructure, Sustainable and Responsible Solutions, and Bionic Organisation culture. They will form the foundations of our purpose as we progress unceasingly towards our goal from day one of EDOTCO’s inception – accelerating equitable access to digital connectivity,” said Adlan Tajudin, Director and Group CEO, EDOTCO Group.
The announcement also included an introduction of a new logo and a new global headquarters based in Malaysia.
The refreshed EDOTCO logo uses an ellipsis as the core of EDOTCO’s visual identity to represent ‘what’s next’ and ‘connection’, which is aligned with the Group’s brand purpose of Shaping Future Connectivity. Representing boldness and dynamism with a striking green palette, it emphasises that EDOTCO goes beyond towers and celebrates the innovative progress that the Group’s infrastructure enables others to achieve.
EDOTCO has also moved to its new global headquarters, Laman EDOTCO, since 1 November 2022. Located at Dataran PHB, Ara Damansara, Laman EDOTCO is a testament to the significant growth that EDOTCO has seen over the past decade. Besides allowing EDOTCO to accommodate its expanding operations, it also enables the consolidation of the Group’s Klang Valley offices into one central location for improved efficiency and productivity. The 51,600 sqft Laman EDOTCO was constructed according to the Green Building Index (GBI) principles, enabling EDOTCO to increase the efficiency of its resource use and meet its sustainability goals by reducing its carbon footprint.
Since its inception in 2012, EDOTCO has established a regional portfolio of over 54,000 telecommunications towers across nine countries in South and Southeast Asia. The award-winning company is the first regional, and integrated telecommunications infrastructure services company in Asia was ranked sixth amongst the top 100 global telecommunications TowerCos in the world and was named one of three Malaysian unicorns by Credit Suisse in 2021. It was also the first telecommunications infrastructure company in Malaysia to be accepted as a UN Global Compact signatory, which is the world’s largest corporate sustainability initiative.
