ASUS Announces Intel Xeon E-2300-Based Servers

ASUS has introduced a new line of servers and server motherboards that are powered by Intel Xeon E-2300 processors. These latest processors provide superior performance with up to eight cores, native PCIe 4.0, and 3200 MT/s memory speeds, as well as Intel Software Guard Extensions for enhanced security. With the updated BMC module on the ASPEED 2600 chipset, ASUS server products offer improved manageability and security. The IPMI 2.0-compliant module includes Intel Platform Firmware Resilience (Intel PFR) as the Root-of-Trust solution for firmware resiliency. ASUS is a leading provider of servers and workstations, offering great customer value and performance with more than 854 benchmark world records, as recorded by the Standard Performance Evaluation Corporation (SPEC, www.spec.org), based on workload tests developed from real-world user applications.

The ASUS RS300-E11 server system and P12R series server motherboards are powered by the Intel C256 or C252 chipsets, delivering a balance of performance and cost and making them ideal storage, mail or gateway servers for small or mid-sized businesses. They include the latest out-of-band ASUS ASMB10-iKVM server‑management solution and the ASUS Control Center IT management software to offer improved remote capabilities at any scale.

The RS300-E11-RS4 and RS300-E11-PS4 servers are ideal for small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs), remote offices, and certain critical applications in edge monitoring services. Each easily integrates with the majority of IT business infrastructures, so system migration is simplified. To ensure up-to-date OS compatibility, the RS300-E11 will be Microsoft Server 2022-certified. Furthermore, the RS300-E11 servers support VMware, Red Hat, and Ubuntu for virtualisation with the Linux operating system. Each server comes with four DIMM slots, two PCIe 4.0 slots, support for four 3.5-inch or 2.5-inch storage drives, one M.2 slot, dual Ethernet ports, and a variety of power supplies.

The P12R-M, P12R-E and P12R-I server motherboards are available in microATX, ATX and Mini-ITX form factors. They are fully optimised for thermal efficiency and offer a multitude of options, including dual 10 Gbps or 1 Gbps Ethernet, compatibility with different storage drives, and USB 3.2 connectivity.
