As the pace of business accelerates, organizations are constantly searching for ways to gain data-driven insights to increase business agility and performance. Yet most business users are forced to choose between enterprise-class business intelligence, which is fast, secure and powerful, but requires close collaboration with IT, and unsecured, self-service desktop discovery tools, which open the business up to security and governance risks. The latest release of Oracle Endeca Information Discovery 3.1 incorporates new enterprise self-service discovery capabilities for business users, allowing them to easily make information-based business decisions with greater success, safety and confidence.
To bring the power of deep, data-driven insights to business users, Oracle launched Oracle Endeca Information Discovery 3.1 (OEID 3.1), the software vendor’s latest iteration of its data discovery platform which offers business users additional self-service data mashup and discovery capabilities, extended support for unstructured analytics, and integration with Oracle Business Intelligence software.
OEID 3.1 features self-service data mashup to enable users to combine information from multiple sources and conduct analysis on the complete set. It also offers deep unstructured analysis giving users new perspectives and insights from the wide variety of conversations, dialogues, and opinions that exist in both enterprise and public sources, helping companies to build an actionable Big Data strategy.
