ProphetStor Establishes New Office in China and Gains Bigger Footprint in Asia

NOTE From DSA Editor: Software Defined Storage is becoming one of the "HOT" technologies, companies who have a revenue model built on storage hardware are going to have to think carefully about how they navigate this. As companies like ProphetStor emerge and people start to understand what they have to offer, software is likely to become more important that the underlying hardware. It will become much easier to incorporate more commodity storage into an enterprise architecture. ProphetStor are obviously taking the Asian market very seriously, it is rare that we see such investment across Asia from a US company still in its early stages.
