Curvature Introduces New Range Of Read-Intensive, Enterprise Class SATA SSDs

Curvature has announced a new launch of enterprise-class Solid State Drives (SSD) that stand fully compatible with all major manufacturer servers (HPE, Dell EMC, Cisco, IBM, etc.) using a single firmware.

Curvature SSDs are expected to be a major pull for customers running large workloads that require high reliability, low latency and energy efficiencies since it is offering 2,000,000 power-on hours, together with a best-in-class performance of 98,000 IOPS of sustained read throughput. Their convenient SATA interface makes for an easy deployment in legacy server infrastructures.

Glenn Fassett, General Manager, EMEA at Curvature comments, “This announcement is good news for IT procurement centres who require the performance IOPs of SSD, but are restricted by the costly price tag. For this reason, we anticipate large demand and an ideal fit for those data centres and server rooms who are running read-intensive server workloads such as read-centric databases, customer-facing web server apps, data analytics and reporting. And - not to forget - Curvature offers next day delivery instead of the usual lead time of weeks.”

Furthermore, Curvature SSDs are guaranteed to be compatible across multiple server manufacturers with a lifetime warranty and proprietary testing software. These drives are in-stock and available at significant savings - often up to 60%, over manufacturer prices. Premium maintenance and support are also available via NetSure®, Curvature’s unrivalled support and maintenance programme.
